Greywater Doused at Burning Man

The Burning Man festival is winding down this weekend. If you have not heard of this event, it sounds like somewhere between 40,000 and 50,000 people meet every year about this time to *burn stuff* in the Black Rock Desert, 120 miles north of Reno, Nevada. If you are a *first timer*, they have a guide for you! I have not attended an event, so can't comment on it. Über cool Dr. David Zetland of Aguanomics fame is there now and has a posting on his *experience*.

What caught my attention was the event's well done guide on greywater collection since their permit with the Bureau of Land Management does not permit direct discharge to the ground surface. The recommendations on how to build a simple greywater collection and evaporation system are excellent, worthy of another DIY Greywater Gadget of the Week for those who worry about the safety of greywater while camping.
