Shower-to-Shirt Greywater System

It has been awhile since a greywater gadget was featured on the Rainbow Water Coalition. The UK Mail Online article introduces the Washit, a shower-clothes washer duo. This unique design introduces a water reuse before the typical reuse scenario of using the greywater for toilet flushing like posted here or yard and garden irrigation like here by permitting the water user to not only take a shower, but also do their laundry with the shower greywater. Careful examination of the article indicates the designers have thought out both domestic and public use scenarios.

In the spirit of Art Ludwig's Laundry-to-Landscape greywater reuse system, perhaps this system can be marketed as a Shower-to-Shirt greywater reuse system.

  1. A good idea, but that name needs some work.
