Spacecraft Greywater

Big news about relocating to the Moon - a lava tube on the Moon may be the *portal* for colonization!

Start packing your bags, but also time to think about your *space waste* while en-route. But..."candid discussions of space waste are scarce in the scientific literature. “It’s very hard to find this stuff written down,” says Lorenz, who is designing future missions to Saturn’s moons. “I don’t know if the human spaceflight community is squeamish about it.”

One commenter on the above article indicates "The Apollo Command Module had a little valve on the hull that dumped astronaut urine to space, and these "urine dumps" were frequently  spectacular ....and.... The Orbiters used to dump a mix of grey water and urine overboard every few days in flight, back when their missions were freeflying."

Another opportunity for some entity to require a permit to *discharge* greywater.
